Does resolve whether Coco leaves Qifery for another master, and talk about the limits of magic, and about hope.
A book full of revelations about Qifery. I had thought I had guessed what his issue with the Brimmed Hats was, from when he asked whether they included someone who looked like him. (A twin, perhaps?) But the origin story is worse, and would preclude that.
It also reveals much more about Olruggio. A much finer character than has been revealed before. Also about how long he and Qifery
Making some of the revelations about Qifery worse. He is a good teacher, and his purpose is higher than it seemed, but his tactics -- oh my.
