Monster Punk Horizon book 3. Spoilers ahead for the first two in a tale of more exuberant adventure.
Pix realized that, after the last two books, that her sword is on its last legs. She's considering going after a monster only semi-documented, the Xession, to get material and money to survive. Jaz is all up for it, of course.
It involves discovering another monster can be talked with, meeting up with friends, discussions of the attractiveness of teeth, a monster that gets drunk on bread, an amazing gem, discoveries about monsters, and more.
