Yes, I really appreciated that Oseman included these side characters, I just wish we got to dig more into them, but maybe the book wouldn't be so cohesive then.
I enjoyed Dear Wendy by Ann Zhao, which came out this year! I think Loveless is much stronger than Dear Wendy as a coming-of-age story, but I did like Dear Wendy is more about aroace people developing bonds and queerplatonic relationships.
I also recently read Someone You Can Build a Nest In by John Wiswell, and really loved it! It's a fantasy featuring two asexual characters with great disability representation.
