The school's about to have a dance, and Abby's not sure she wants to come, given a past humiliation about dancing. Meanwhile, Jonah's jealous about how Prince is staying with Maryrose. But then Maryrose comes to ask for help. They go to a world to return with a magical ruby.
They land in the Twelve Dancing Princesses, where the king named his daughter One, Two, Three -- and up to Twelve. And where they can only dance ballet. And a prince who didn't really want to do was forced by his parents to find out what happened at night.
