Looking for a Turkish/Ottoman legend

In his latest book Orhan Pamuk talks a lot about an Ottoman legend featuring a couple who fall in love with each other's portraits without having seen each other in the flesh.

I want to learn more about that legend, but I can't remember the names of the characters, and I had only borrowed my copy of Other Colours.

I think that the woman's name begins with Şi- and the man's name with Hü-, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.

Does somebody know what I'm talking about? :)
