January Book Club - Guy Gavriel Kay (WITH SPOILERS) post

This is where you come to talk about the book of Guy Gavriel Kay you chose to read for the January book club and can rave/rant about the twists and turns of the story. This post allows SPOILERS.

Have fun posting which book you chose, why, isn't any good, is it really, really bad and you are changing book... etc

Mmm, I'll be reading The Lions of Al-Rassan, which I've read before and is the last, I think, of my rereads. Guy Gavriel Kay is pretty much infinitely rereadable as far as I'm concerned: his world is so bright with details.

The Lions of Al-Rassan wasn't my favourite, the first time round, but I've found that I've found more to love and appreciate in his work each time anyway, so it might be that this makes a much deeper impression on me than it did before.
