The Long Earth involves an improbable invention, an astounding discovery and a journey to see how far the rabbit hole goes. The story begins with two people who have a strange experience where they are transported to some strange location. One is a soldier during World War One in France, and the other is a pregnant teenager, who dies shortly after giving birth. - Mood:
