Aurora's End
Aurora's End by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
The end of the trilogy. Spoilers for the earlier books ahead.
As in, it opens with Zila discovering that she, Finian, and Scarlett are still alive. And she can't figure out what she's seeing outside the ship. Tyler, aboard the Syldrathi ship, argues with Saedilli because he's having visions of disaster. Auri discovering that Kal is not dead but they are stranded with his father and they can't figure out what they are seeing outside the ship.
The fight winds on. The meaning of their gifts still unravel. Temporal effects are odd. First kisses are exchanged. Magellan makes some chirpy observations that surprise people. Tyler realizes the easiest way for a hunted fugitive to get on Aurora Base. Kal and Auri meet some people again and work out what happened with the Weapon. And more.
