This Was Our Pact
This Was Our Pact by Ryan Andrews
Our narrator and some friends of his set out on a quest to follow the festival lanterns as they float downstream, to see if the legends are true. The unpopular boy tags along. (It's an odd mix, because the legend says they turn to stars, and yet the boys know modern astronomy.)
