Cloak of Worlds

Cloak of Worlds by Jonathan Moeller

The adventures of Nadia continue.

After a court case, Nadia receives warning of an intrusion near the Gate. An unusual one. For one thing, it evades her Seal of Shadows. For another thing, it proves to be a lone elf. He asks for help -- and for Tyth, her old friend, the High Queen's Handmaiden. Also, he's from the world of their foes the Singularity. Nadia suggests moving him to a secure location, and then his enemies attack.

A sharp fight later, and after a meeting with her brother about a magical staff for her, they deal with the issue of how his people's Sybelline showed him a vision of Tyth and said she was crucial.

The tale winds on with dragons, the contempt the fire giants hold their Nineth Marshall in, something both Nadia and Tyth recognize from before, songs, passing through time, and more.
