Nook! And books (of course)

I've decided I want to buy a Nook! :) It's expensive, but I'm giddy at the thought of being able to take as many books with me as I want in one cute fun device! :D I'm asking for one for my birthday - the only sad part is that my birthday is 3 months away so I'll be waiting a while.

Does anyone here read on a Nook or a Kindle or other type of ereader?

I also want to fix a bad habit of mine. Re-reading old favorite books of mine is something I enjoy, but it's keeping me from branching out and reading new things. I want to read at least 30 new-to-me books this year.

So far I've read the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins - VERY VERY good, my only regret is not having read it sooner. All three were SUPER fast reads, but they were very very good.

I'm in the middle of reading 1421: The Year China Discovered America by Gavin Menzies. It's interesting, but slow-going.

I'm also reading my first Patricia Briggs novel. It's from her Mercy Thomson Series, Iron Kissed. I'm going to go back and read the first 2 in the series when they become available from my library.

The next book I want to read is the novel that the musical Wicked is based off of! That or Eragon, I've been meaning to read that one for a while too.

I would describe the musical as a high school AU of the book. They have almost nothing in common except the names.

Well, I don't feel vaguely bad for not being interested in the musical at all now...although I hardly remember the book at this point.
